Penn State was Chaz Powell's dream school and once the Nittany Lions offered a scholarship, the New Freedom (Pa.) Susquehannock athlete accepted.

Powell, a 6-foot-1, 184-pound athlete, also had offers from UConn, Boston College, Georgia, Maryland, Purdue and Temple.
