The Clemson coaching staff has extended an offer to Chamblee, Ga., running back Roddy Jones.

The 5-foot-8, 184-pound athlete attended the Tommy Bowden Camp yesterday, and following his performance where he ran a 4.43 and a 4.44/40, the Tigers offered.

"I had a pretty good camp. I ran very well, and caught some passes, and overall it was a good camp," Jones told Tigerillustrated.com Friday evening.

Clemson running backs coach and recruiter Burton Burns sent the offer verbally this morning.
