Chaney looks to avoid sophomore slump
Jamar Chaney came out of St. Lucie West Centennial as a three star prospect with offers from some of the country's top programs. After some admission problems with the school he committed to, Chaney had to take his athletic abilities elsewhere. A phone call and a good recommendation to Coach Croom was all it took for Chaney to become part of Coach Croom's rebuilding process.
As the Bulldogs try to change the losing ways, Chaney uses this as a motivational tool.
"We haven't been winning the last couple of years. If you start something off everybody will know you were apart of something special. If I'm here when we win the first SEC Championship, that will be special. I'm also motivated by the fact that I want to play NFL football, so I practice hard and play hard, so if I play my best it's helping my team out."
