Early receives his first offer
The recruiting season rarely seems to have its downtime nowadays, but in the midst of AAU season prospects across the country are working hard to get their name tossed into the hat of capable players. Every player wants to impress college coaching staffs into extending official offers.
Few have done more to improve their stock this summer than Huntington, W.V., shooting guard Chris Early. After helping to lead his team to a state championship and the Boo Williams AAU squad to a solid performance thus far into the summer Early is finally beginning to see his hard work pay off.
"I've been starting to hear from a lot of schools lately," Early said. "Miami, Oklahoma, St. Joe's, Providence, Wisconsin, Tennessee Kentucky, UCONN, Michigan, and Kansas have all been getting in contact with me."
While the attention continues to grow there has only Oklahoma has stepped forward with an official offer to the 6-foot-5 shooting guard.
