A&M extends new offer

AggieYell.com Coming off a breakout season that saw the Texas A&M basketball team come within seconds of a Sweet 16 berth in the NCAA Tournament, head coach Billy Gillispie and his staff welcomed a who's-who of high school basketball prospects this past weekend for their annual summer Elite camp.
Among those in attendance was cat-quick point guard B.J. Holmes. The 5-foot-10, 168-pound guard from Alief Hastings High School impressed many observers, including the one observer that counts the most.
Holmes has scholarship offers from Texas A&M, Charlotte, Miami, Georgetown, Michigan and Kentucky. He plays his AAU basketball for the T-Mac All-Stars.
