Texas' James intrigued by Buckeyes
Geography may be no more than a bothersome secondary school subject to some but it's also a powerful component of recruiting more often than not.
Prospective student-athletes talk about wanting to find a school that's merely the right fit academically and athletically and claim they simply aspire to play for a coaching staff and with teammates that "feel right."
However, that "feel" usually includes knowing mom and dad aren't too far away.
Prize forward Damion James (6-8, 225 pounds) is wrestling with that very thought. James is now a free agent and perhaps the last prize recruit from the class of 2006 on the board, and Ohio State is among the schools getting in the picture.
But after decommitting from Oklahoma, James will visit Texas A&M and Texas. There are three schools on the proverbial back burner that rank in no particular order -- Arizona, Ohio State and Kentucky.
