Turner to narrow things soon
Evan Turner's rise as a prospect began when his height began to rise. A
growth spurt that began a little later than most his age.
"I started out high school as a 5'10 point guard and now I'm a 6'6 small
forward," he said last fall to Rivals.com. "I grew eight inches in one year, and it has taken a little time to get used to it. The advantage is that I handle the
ball pretty well for a guy my size."
It is that tremendous versatility that has most of the Big Ten and a host of
high major programs already offering scholarships to prospect. One of the
latest to join the offer list is the Indiana Hoosiers.
Turner expects to narrow his list of schools after Memorial Day.
