Early on in the recruiting cycle it looks as though one of the most coveted prospects in the Lone Star State will be Irving (Texas) MacArthur athlete Ron Brooks. The 6-foot, 170-pound speedster reports 4.4 speed in the forty and an offer list that would make most other prospects envious. Co-defensive coordinator Greg Mattison is on his trail for the University of Florida and seems to have made some headway.
