Last month Clemson landed the nation's No. 5 defensive back class with the signatures of DeAndre McDaniel, Darius Gaither, Byron Maxwell and Crezdon Butler. The coaching staff will again go after defensive backs this year, taking one cornerback and potentially two safeties. Sunday night, in an interview with Tigerillustrated.com, a safety from Alabama said the Tigers were on his early shortlist.
