Scoring drought too much for AU to overcome

AuburnSports.com A scoring drought of more than seven minutes that spanned both halves doomed Auburn as they fell to Mississippi State 71-53 Saturday in Starkville. Auburn now drops below .500 for the first time this season at 9-10. Their 1-7 conference record also has the Tigers dwelling in the SEC cellar.
