AUBURN | The Tigers endeavored to be a running team last season, but the reality is they rarely were productive with possession of the ball last season.
If those trends are to be altered in 2013, the offensive line must ignite the change.
That's where J.B. Grimes enters the picture. The 57-year-old assistant coach has spent portions of his career at various programs throughout the Southeastern Conference: Mississippi State, Arkansas, Missouri and Texas A&M. His latest gig will require him to consolidate lessons learned during the 2012 season at Arkansas State and apply them to what Gus Malzahn has mind for this fall.
He believes that task fits him perfectly.
