Winston-Salem (N.C.) Parkland High defensive tackle Deshaywn Middleton has been in frequent contact with NC State, one of his first offers, and also taken multiple unofficial visits to the Raleigh campus that is located about two hours from Middleton's hometown.

Thus it's no surprise that the Pack is one of Middleton's early favorites.
