The fight and effort had been there in the early SEC season, and had disappeared for five games, before it was re-channeled in a loss to Alabama. But it was still a loss, and although Frank Martin was encouraged by the effort, he couldn't be too happy in defeat. It was just that the corner was back in sight, that was all.
