Texas A&M preview
Something will have to give tonight when Mississippi State and Texas A&M tipoff at 8 p.m.
Both teams have lost four straight entering their matchup at Humphrey Coliseum tied with three other teams at 2-4 in league play.
The Bulldogs lead the series at 2-1 with all games taking place on a neutral court. MSU has won the last two meetings with the Aggies last win coming in 1964.
State claimed a 69-60 victory over the Aggies in the 2K Classic in New York City last year. Dee Bost led the way for the Bulldogs in that contest with 20 points and four steals.
Rick Ray's squad is 7-11 on the year and are coming off a 82-47 loss at home to Florida on Saturday. The 35-point loss was the second worst defeat ever at "The Hump". Freshman wing Fred Thomas kept the deficit from being worse with a career-high 19 points off the bench.
