First Official Visitor
Auburn will host its first recruit of the year on an official visit this weekend as four-star defensive end Tashawn Bower makes his way to the Plains. Bower, who committed to Auburn in June over offers from several top programs, will be attending his first game inside Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Bower, 6-foot-5, 240 pounds, is scheduled to arrive on campus shortly after Tiger Walk on Saturday morning and not waste much time getting inside the stadium for Auburn's 11 a.m. kickoff against Arkansas. He is expected to stay in Auburn until Sunday afternoon around 2:30.
Bower is off to a fast start to his senior season at Immaculata in Somerville, N.J. Through the first three games, he has recorded 20 tackles, five tackles for loss, four sacks and six quarterback hurries. Immaculata is 2-1 heading into tonight's matchup against Linden.
