Bulldogs scrimmage inside stadium
When Dan Mullen decided to have a scrimmage Saturday night he wanted to make it as realistic as possible.
So instead of suiting up and heading to the practice field Mississippi State ventured down the street and scrimmaged under the lights at Davis Wade Stadium.
"It was good and bad," Mullen said. "There were a lot of teachable moments that occurred. When a lot of young guys get in the stadium it's a different atmosphere. We played it very much like a game just so the guys get more of a game feel. For younger guys who really haven't played we really tried to play the young guys in as many game situations as we could just so they understand."
Mullen stated that the first teams played around 60 reps during the scrimmage while the second units went around 70.
