NOTEBOOK: Frazier, Moseley still even for top QB job
AUBURN -- If Kiehl Frazier has made a move in the race at quarterback, Auburn coaches are keeping their opinions to themselves.
Gene Chizik and offensive coordinator Scot Loeffler on Saturday insisted that nothing has changed in terms of staffing. Frazier, a sophomore who played sparingly last season, is auditioning for the top spot along with junior Clint Moseley and that competition likely will continue through August.
"It's too early in install to make any evaluation with that whatsoever," Loeffler said. "As we get later into camp, when the installation is done, we'll be able to assess exactly where we're at."
