For Shepard and OU, the Time Has Come

In just over a month the Sooners 2012 recruiting class will arrive in Norman ready to begin their careers donning the Crimson and Cream. One of the biggest hurdles for many incoming freshman to overcome is being home sick. Sterling Shepard, however, will most likely not have that problem.
It is only around a 30-minute drive for the Oklahoma City Heritage Hall product to get to his future home and Shepard recently made the short trip to check out the Red-White Spring Game.
"It was great," Shepard said about the spring game. "I got to talk to a lot of the guys after the game. And then I talked to coach (Josh) Heupel and coach (Jay) Norvell. All around it was a good trip."
