It was the first big play of what had been a stagnant Orange and Blue Debut.

Latroy Pittman blew past walk-on cornerback Ben Peacock, caught a deep pass from quarterback Jacoby Brissett and was forced out at the 24-yard line after a 43-yard gain. The crowd was excited. The players on the field were excited. UF head coach Will Muschamp praised his freshman wide receiver as a guy who made a name for himself this spring.

Pittman though was disappointed.
