Spring Practice Report Day 11
Yesterday's snow gave way to a brisk but pleasant afternoon in Morgantown as the Mountaineers took to the field in their eleventh practice of the spring season.
In the 30 minute session open to the media, the team focused on a number of fundamental drills in preparation to the April 21 Gold-Blue Game.
Quarterbacks continued to work on their familiar footwork drills, with one notable absence Geno Smith, who was not in attendance due to another engagement. Jake Spavital continued to call out numbers for the other two quarterbacks to step while avoiding the bean bags and then deliver a pass into the net. Paul Millard looked sharp during the session observed, while Ford Childress struggled with accuracy in the early stages.
