Illinois fullback Jay Prosch, who signed with the Illini in 2010 out of UMS Wright in Mobile, Ala., is transferring to Auburn.

Prosch, 6-foot, 250 pounds, is transferring to be closer to his mother, Iris, who was diagnosed with brain cancer last year.

Prosch has been granted his release by Illinois and plans to enroll at Auburn for the spring semester...
