Bulldogs back in a routine
After taking Monday off, Mississippi State returned to the practice fields Tuesday continuing their preparations for their conference showdown with Georgia this week.
This week is the first game the Bulldogs have had on back-to-back Saturdays all season and Tuesday work left head coach Dan Mullen pleased.
"It was a good practice today," Mullen said. "It was a good work day in breaking back into the season schedule. It was a good, hard-working, emphatic practice."
MSU will be walking into a hostile environment between the hedges of Sanford Stadium on Saturday in front of 92.746 fans, most of whom will not be pulling for the visiting Bulldogs.
"I think everywhere you go on the road you have an advantage because of crowd noise," Mullen said. "They'd just better make sure they don't have any artificial things in there and it's just their voices."
State is 7-5 on the road under Mullen but Mullen has never played at Georgia in his coaching career.
