Spring forward, WVU quarterbacks

WVSports.com MORGANTOWN--This will be the first time in four years that WVU returns its same starting quarterback in Geno Smith. The junior said this he had recovered from off-season surgery for an injured foot and would be ready Monday when offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen's first spring football campaign opens. Once again, it is important for him to take as many reps as possible to learn the new offensive system.
Smith finished with a 9-4 record as the starter in 2010 and completed 241-of-372 passes for 2,763 yards and 24 touchdowns.
