Johnson suspended indefinitely
For the third instance this season Ravern Johnson will miss time on the court with a suspension.
Mississippi State head coach Rick Stansbury announced Monday that the senior wing would be suspended indefinitely for missing practice last Thursday and Friday as well as failing to comply with the universities class attendance policy.
"Ravern will be indefinitely suspended," Stansbury said. "He missed practice on both Thursday and Friday and he has an academic attendance policy that he's suspended for."
Stansbury confirmed that Johnson was still a member of the team and expected him to practice on Monday. He did not specify the length of the suspension but did say that he would not play Wednesday in the Bulldogs home matchup against Arkansas.
"He'll make the decision if and when he plays again," Stansbury said.
"No one else will tell me when he gets off suspension. Ravern will help me make that decision but I will make it."
