Blakely talks Florida commitment

InsidetheGators.com Over the weekend, in a span of less then 24-hours, in some form or another Bradenton (Fla.) Manatee running back Michael Blakely experienced both the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. On Friday evening the 5-foot-9, 190-pound Rivals100 member rushed for 189-yards and a touchdown in leading the Hurricanes to a 41-28 victory over Venice. However, then on Saturday he watched his future team, Florida suffer through their fifth loss of the season, this time being dismantled by instate rival Florida State.
Because he had a bum ankle, Manatee basically made a decision to sit Blakely most of the regular season with an expectation of getting him healthy for a playoff run.
