Anderson embracing his role
With a loaded secondary, junior Damein Anderson has not had that many snaps at cornerback so far on the young season.
But instead of complaining Anderson has done the opposite and found his way as a starter on special teams and embraced that role for Mississippi State.
"The season is going pretty good for me," Anderson said. "I'm starting on most of the special teams and getting a couple of reps at corner so it's going pretty good for me."
The 5-foot-11, 195-pounder starts on the punt, punt block and kickoff coverage units for head coach Dan Mullen, who also serves as the Bulldogs special teams coordinator.
