Chris Rainey's football career at the University of Florida could be in jeopardy.

Rainey, a starting wide receiver, was arrested early Tuesday and faces a felony charge of aggravated stalking. According to a Gainesville Police Department press release, police arrested Rainey after a woman he has been dating off and on for several years claimed Rainey threatened her life.

Rainey's first appearance was scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday.
