JEFFERSON - Carver-Columbus running back Isaiah Crowell has made a decision.
No, he did not make a verbal commitment during Saturday's final day of the Georgia state track championships, but Crowell did have some news in regards to when an announcement would come.
It's going to be a while.
"I'm going to way until Signing Day," Crowell said Saturday. "I just want people to guess where I'm going to do."
Crowell stressed that a decision has not been made and he does not know when he will come to any final conclusion.
"I don't have any favorites," Crowell said, reiterating what he told UGASports Thursday afternoon. "It's all open."
Crowell participated in three events after qualifying for the Class AAAA 100-meter, 200-meter and took part on Carver's 400-meter relay team, which finished fourth in the state with a time of 42.179.
He did not qualify for the 200-meter dash but finished fifth in the 100-meter, posting a 11.014.
"I've run as fast as 10.7 this year, so I was a little disappointed," said Crowell. "But track helps me get ready for football. That's the big thing."
