If Lakeem Jackson was afraid to play, he wouldn't have started every one of South Carolina's games and already be looked upon as a sophomore by his coach. It's not about effort. If Jackson didn't compete as hard as he does, he wouldn't have the unbroken string of starting every game he's played in.
