Early in the recruiting process Joseph Randle was a key target of the Jayhawks. He was one of the headliners that took a visit to the Kansas Junior Day event last March.

Scholarship offers poured in for the Wichita standout and he eventually committed to Oklahoma State in the middle of October.

When Turner Gill took over at Kansas he said the staff would recruit, and then recruit some more in his first press conference.
