DeSoto junior gaining A&M's attention
It seems like everybody has been waiting on DeSoto junior offensive tackle Marcus Hutchins since he emerged as a starter on one of the best offensive lines in the state. Now, the wait is finally over.
The 6-foot-5, 250-pound Hutchins has the quick feet (he has a run a 4.7-second 40-yard dash) that all college recruiters dream about in a left tackle and the frame to add significant quantities of weight. Now he's completed his junior season after helping DeSoto to an 8-3 campaign with the top-ranked offense in the Metroplex.
Hutchins has scholarship offers from Arizon and Arkansas and is gaining significant interest from Texas A&M and Oregon.
