Revitalized Running Game Raises Questions
South Carolina has found a running game. Now to keep it intact. The Gamecocks ran 58 times in a 34-17 shellacking of Clemson last week, using a mix of speed (Kenny Miles) and substance (Brian Maddox). Quarterback Stephen Garcia kept the ball on many more designed runs than he previously has and the "WildCock" formation, with Stephon Gilmore at QB, was a resounding success.
