With their recent victory over South Florida being on national television, Rutgers had the opportunity to make a statement to a number of recruits. This opportunity also gave a number of other recruits the opportunity to attend the game, including 2011 ATH Damiere Byrd, who recently received an offer from the Scarlet Knights.
