Backup cornerback Vance Cuff was arrested by UGA police after being charged with driving with a suspended license and "emerging from an alley Tuesday afternoon.

Cuff, who was arrested at 3:24 p.m., was released at 4:16 p.m. on a $1,750 bond.

Cuff, who missed last week's game against Tennessee while still recovering from a knee injury, was at practice Tuesday.

Head coach Mark Richt could not immediately be reached for comment.

Cuff has appeared in three games for Georgia, with a season-high five tackles in the opener against Oklahoma State.
